10 May Learn to Breathe Again
Since the pandemic there are so many people who now have difficulty breathing. This workshop will teach you how to find your way back to deep and relaxing breathing, or to find your way there perhaps for the first time in your life. Breath penetrates, breath invigorates, and breath heals. Even if you have perfectly healthy lungs, learning breathing patterns positively affects our stress level, anxiety, quality of sleep, and even our relationships.
This workshop will include a lecture, simple but high impact breathing exercises, very gentle breath-initiated movement, and guided stillness exercises.
Suggested props: a yoga mat, belt or strap, and make sure you can sit comfortably on a straight-backed chair or on the floor. Bring writing materials
All levels are welcome. Recording is available until 14 days after the session.
