08 Feb Online – Teaching Healing: Take your students' experience beyond the mat
This is a training especially designed for teachers, teachers in training and (health) care givers. However, anyone interested in the topic is most welcome.
What makes you return to your mat, to your practice, time and time again?
As a teacher you know it’s not about downward facing dog and whether or not your heels touch the floor. You have experienced first hand, that the magic of yoga and breathwork is intangible, its impact profound which words can hardly describe. A deep practice has the power to transform your mind state, your emotional state and physical state all at once. You know this. But your students might still be thinking about their heels in downward facing dog.
How can you facilitate an experience for your students that goes beyond the poses, beyond the mat? How can you facilitate transformation?
This training consists of lecture, movement and breathing practice and Q&A. Also included:
- Opening the chest and shoulders to release withheld emotions
- Key phrases to connect with students to lead them inside themselves
- Max's algorithm on sequencing postures to release emotions withheld in the body.
Bring writing materials and something that helps you to sit up with a straight spine.
All levels are welcome. No previous experience necessary. Recording is available until 14 days after the training.
